Getting Started

  1. Choose a landing page template from the templates gallery page. You can also choose to build a page from scratch.
  2. Click on Use Template to open the template in the drag and drop builder.
  3. Edit the page content - text, images, backgrounds, layout etc. in the builder. Click on Publish once you're done.
  4. Create your URL. You can choose our free domain (demopage.co) or use your own domain by using CNAME settings or you can also use our WordPress or Magento plugins.

Choose a template and modify it using the drag and drop Builder. You can also start from a blank page.

You can publish your landing page using any of the following options:

  1. Use CNAME settings in your hosting provider such as GoDaddy. This will appear as a sub-domain such as abc.yourdomain.com
  2. Use our WordPress or Magento plugins. This will appear as yourdomain.com/abc
  3. Select the option for our free domain - this will appear as abc.demopage.co

There is also an option for downloading the landing page HTML for a one-time fee. You can use this option if you are comfortable setting up and hosting by yourself.

We host your landing pages for you. But, you can set up the page on your own URL so they will appear as a natural extension of your website such as landingpage1.yourdomain.com.

Yes! We have only fast loading landing page templates.
To make sure your landing page loads quick, use compressed images.

Absolutely! All landing pages designed on Sunny Landing Pages are automatically mobile responsive landing pages.

You can see the preview option to see how your page looks on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

If you like, you may change the order of elements in mobile view, go to section settings and changing the order in the right panel.

Pro-tip: You can also change the background position on the mobile view by clicking on background in the left panel and scrolling down in the right panel for background position

The pages are designed to maximise conversions. But it will also depend on your offering and content.

The free starter plan allows you to build and publish unlimited responsive landing pages with the use of all templates and the drag and drop builder

There is a limit of 300 page visits/ month in this plan.

Yes, you can cancel at any time and your account will be updated to the starter plan. We do not offer refunds for payments already made.

1 page visit means a single visit to 1 of your landing pages. If the another person visits or the same person visits again it is counted as another visit.

Firstly, you get a warning notification mail when your page visits near the monthly limit.
If you do cross the page visits limits for the month, your published landing pages will be disabled till the end of the month or until you to upgrade.
All your landing pages and visit data will remain accessible in your account. You will still be able to edit all your landing pages as well as create new ones.



Building your Landing Page

  1. Click on the Hamburger Menu on the top left side. Left Panel menu opens.
  2. From the Left Panel menu select Background. Right Panel opens.
  3. Select Image from the Right Panel. The Image Library pop up opens.
  4. Select from the 1 million pixabay images available or upload your own.
  5. Hit Insert.

Yes

  1. Open your landing page in the builder.
  2. Double click on your form in the landing page builder.
  3. In the Form Builder pop up, click on the Notifications tab on the right side.
  4. Check the Enable Lead Mail checkbox.
  5. The From Name can be edited via the From Name field. The From Address is not editable and is 'noreply@sunnylandingpages'.
  6. To Edit the Lead Mail Subject, Content and Attachment, click on the Edit Mail button. This is only available to paid subscribers. It is excluded in the Starter plan.
  7. Edit Mail pop up opens. The Subject and Content can be modified and an Attachment can be added to the lead mail.
  8. Click Save Email and then Save Form in the form builder pop up.
  9. This email will be be sent to a lead/ subscriber after he has submitted the form on your landing page.

By default, you will get an alert or notification email each time a lead is captured on your landing page to your registered account.

You can switch it off or change the email address to which the notification mail goes. To change the email address:

  1. Double click on the form. The form builder pop up should appear.
  2. Go to the Form Setting tab.
  3. Enter the new email address in the Email To field. You can also check out this blog article.

Yes - use the embed element option in Add element in the left panel of the builder

You can use any of the 1 million Pixabay images as your landing page images for free.
All template images are copyright-free and can be used absolutely free.

  1. In the builder, click on page settings on the top right. The Page Settings pop up appears.
  2. Click on the Analytics tab.
  3. Paste your Facebook pixel tracking code in the designated section.

  3. Paste your Google Analytics tracking code into the designated section.

This is due to the paragraph / headline element's height not being big enough to accomodate the text. You can fix this by resizing and increasing the height of the paragraph or headline element.



Publishing your Landing Page

1. When publishing your page, select the Domain option.
2. Enter a Page Name and in the Page URL dropdown select Add New Domain.
3. Enter a prefix/sub-domain for your landing pages like lander, promo etc. This can be the prefix/sub-domain for all your landing pages.
4. Enter your site's domain.
5. Enter a directory name for this landing page like page1, page2 and so on.
6. So, finally your Page URLs should look something like this.
        https://lander.yoursite.com/page1
        https://lander.yoursite.com/page2
7. Now you have to add a CNAME Record on your website's hosting account.
8. Login to your GoDaddy or simlar website hosting account. Go to your website's account. Go to DNS settings.
9. Add a CNAME Record. Enter the same prefix/sub-domain you entered in the Host field. Enter the text "page.sunnylandingpages.com" in the Points To field. Enter the min possible time in the TTL field.
10.Your page should be live within a few seconds! However, it may take up to an hour depending on the time taken for it to be added to the DNS servers.

1. Install the Sunny Landing Pages WordPress plugin to your WordPress site
2. After building your page on https://sunnylandingpages.com when publishing, select the WordPress option.
3. Now go to the WordPress plugin and login using your login credentials for https://sunnylandingpages.com
4. In the dashboard, an entry of your page will be visible. Hit "Quick Edit". Here you can enter the Page Type, URL and change the Status to Published.
5. Your page is now published to your WordPress site.

Landing Page Analytics

You can access vistor information for your landing page by going to the Analytics page. From the Dashboard and click on the Analytics icon for your landing page, and go to the Visitor Data Table.

Yes, in the Visitor Data Table on the Analytics page, you see how many times a person has visited a landing page.
By clicking on the entry, you view further details about the visitor and all of his/ her visits.

You can view the leads/ subscribers captured by going to the Analytics page for your landing page and selecting Leads view.

You can do that by creating a landing page form. Do this adding a new Form element.
In the Form Builder pop up, you can set the fields and notification to your email address.
You can view the leads/ subscribers captured by going to the Analytics page for your landing page and selecting Leads view.

This feature is only available in the paid version. There are 2 ways to do this.

  1. On the right side of the dashboard page, there is a Get Leads box. From the dropdown, select the landing page for which you want the leads. The file will be downloaded.
  2. In the Dashboard entry of your landing page, click on Analytics icon. In the Analytics Page, select Leads View. Click on the Download button on the top right.



Email Marketing/ CRM Form Integrations

  1. Yes, you can! All you have to do is create a new form in your email marketing software/ CRM, obtain the embed code for it and paste it into an embed code element whilst building your landing page.
  2. The leads/ subscribers captured will automatically get added to the specified list in your email marketing/ CRM software.


There are 3 ways to integrate your landing page with MailChimp:

  1. Embed Code
    1. Log in to your MailChimp account
    2. Select Lists from the top menu
    3. Select the list you want to integrate with your landing page
    4. Under Signup forms, select Embedded Forms
    5. Design the form as you like
    6. Copy the HTML/Javascript code from designated section
    7. On your Sunny Landing Page, add a new Embed Code element. Paste the code in it

  2. API key
    • Find or generate your Mailchimp API key here
    • Double click on the form in your page to launch the form builder
    • On the bottom of the right panel you will see an option for mailchimp. Click on that and follow the simple steps. Your form will get connected.
    • Remember to click on 'save form' in the form builder even after you close the mailchimp pop-up
  3. Zapier


1. Log in to your Mailerlite account
2. Select Forms from the top menu
3. Select Create New Embedded Form. Give the Form a name
4. Select the subscriber group to which you want the leads captured to go to
5. Design the form as you like and click on Done
7. Copy the Universal Javascript. On your Sunny Landing Page, go to Page Settings. Select the Javascript tab. Paste the code in the Head section.
8. Copy the Embed Code from the 2nd code window. On your Sunny Landing Page, add a new Embed Code element. Paste the code in it

1. Log in to your ActiveCampaign account
2. Select Forms from the left panel
3. Create a New Form. Give the form a name and select to which list you want to add the leads/ subscribers to.
4. Select the subscriber group to which you want the leads captured to get added to
5. Design the form as you like and click on Integrate
6. Copy the HTML/Javascript embed code
7. On your Sunny Landing Page, add a new Embed Code element. Paste the code in it

1. Log in to your ConstantContact account
2. Select Signup Forms from the top menu
3. Create a New Form.
4. Design the form as you like and click on Integrate
5. Select the list to which you want the leads captured to get added to
6. Hit Publish. You will be redirected to the Forms page.
7. From the 3 dot menu of the form you created, copy the form embed code. On your Sunny Landing Page, add a new Embed Code element. Paste the code in it
8. Copy the Universal Code. On your Sunny Landing Page, go to Page Settings. Select the Javascript tab. Paste the code in the Head section.

1. Log in to your GetResponse account
2. From the Forms dropdown in the top menu select Create Form
3. Choose a form template
4. Design the form as you like and click on Save and Publish
5. Copy the Javascript embed form code.
6. On your Sunny Landing Page, add a new Embed Code element. Paste the code in it.

WordPress

Yes. You do. It takes only 1 min to sign up.

Login to the Sunny Landing Pages WordPress plugin. You will be able to see all your pages there. You can then proceed to publish them to your site.

Yes! Our builder support multi-lingual landing pages for WordPress.


This is due to your server security settings. It's best to contact your server hosting provider.
Also, you could try installing this wordpress plugin

Yes, you can set a landing page as a normal page, homepage or 404 error page.
To do this, after creating a page, in the WordPress plugin, find your landing page and then click on Quick Edit.
You can change the status here.

No. The landing page is separate and will not have any styling from the WordPress theme.

Yes. Please use the preview option to test across devices. That's how the page will look even after you've integrated with your WordPress site.

Yes. We have plenty of coming soon landing page templates to choose from. You can also include a countdown timer in your landing page.

You can edit the landing page through our drag and drop builder at any time. Even after publishing the page.

Sometimes the page status shows up as Future in the WordPress plugin. We have noticed this to be an issue with some users in the Pacific Time or Mountain Time zones. You can try the following two options as workarounds:

  1. Go to wordpress settings - change the time zone to say ET or GMT. Once the page is published you can wait 24 hours before changing it back. Please make sure this won't impact any other scheduling feature you may be running in your WP.
  2. Try using this scheduled post plugin - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-scheduled-posts/



Landing Page HTML Download

We allow you to download the HTML code of the landing page you designed on the drag and drop builder.
This feature is available in our Pro and Ultimate plans.
Alternatively, you can download the HTML of your landing page for a one time fee of $9.

If you're comfortable working with code and will be able to set up the landing page on your own server then the download HTML options will work for you.
If you are marketer who doesn't want to worry about that kind of stuff then the hosted subscription plans will suit you better.

If you are on the Pro or Ultimate plans, you can edit and download the HTML of the landing pages as many times as you like.
If you go with the 1 time download for $9, you are allowed only 1 HTML download. So, make sure your page is ready to go before you hit Download. If you would still like to download the page a 2nd time after making edits you will have to pay another $9.

Yes. We optimize all our landing pages for speed. Just make sure you used properly compressed images for top performance.

Yes. In the Builder, you can use the Preview button to see how it looks on mobile devices. That's how the page will look mobile devices after you've downloaded it as well.

Probably Not. The easiest way to get a landing page for your WordPress site is to opt for a hosted plan and use the WordPress plugin from Sunny Landing Pages.



Magento Landing Pages

  1. Install the Sunny Landing Pages Magento extension.
  2. Connect your Sunny Landing Pages account to the Magento extension.
    • Do this by going to Manage Account and clicking on Manage Integrations.
    • Click on Connect. In the URL field enter "https://magento.sunnylandingpages.com".
    • Enter your Magento site admin login credentials and hit Connect.
  3. In the Magento admin panel go to System Settings>Cache Management Flush Cache Storage and Flush Magento Cache.
  4. Create a landing page on the website.
    • Note: You can add element of Magento Product type. A list of the products you are selling will appear in the Magenot Products Pop up.
    • This element will is will give you an image, title, price and description of your Magento Product.
    • You can insert this on your page to create a landing page for a product.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Go the Magento Admin Panel > Sunny Landing Pages extension page. The newly created landing page will appear here.
  7. Click on the entry to edit. Give a URL-key and make the page active.



Mobile Landing Pages

  1. In the builder, click somewhere in the section you want to change the order of elements in.
  2. In the right panel click on mobile order.
  3. Use the drag and drop interface to reorder your elements

  1. In the builder, click somewhere in the section you want to change the background image position of.
  2. In the right panel, scroll to the bottom to Background Mobile Setting.
  3. Increase the percentage to move the image to the left.
  4. Click on Mobile Preview to test how it looks on mobile.
